Midtown Ocean City is the middle stretch of the island, running roughly from the low 30s to around 90th Street. The Boardwalk ends near its southern edge, so midtown trades amusement density for wider beach access, condominium blocks, bayside restaurants, and easier parking. It is the usual compromise district for families who want a short drive to downtown, a short walk to the sand, and a quieter evening than the Boardwalk provides.
